Since Peter Walker launched the his first Quad ESL in the mid 50`s of last century, the ESL57 is one of the mostly appreciated speaker ever. The QUAD ESL became synonymous with the phrase “for the closest approach to the original sound”
QUAD Musikwiedergabe delivers refurbished ESL57`s worldwide. Even if the ESL`s we deliver look like new we always work on an long existing pair. We spend them new made electrostatic panels new frontgrilles, new wooden parts, plus a number of samll details which make them shine fort he decades to come.

ESL57 „higher stand“
For "perfect fit" setups, we also offer the ESL57 with special longer siderails that place it slightly higher and more precisely aligned to the listening position. The siderails and the rear foot, which is also longer, have invisible threads on the underside. Screw-in spikes or rubber feet allow further adjustment and provide a secure stand on different floors.

Price: 620€ incl. VAT when ordering the longer siderails plus longer rear foot individually, all parts for one pair (different types of wood available). Craftsmanship required for assembly.
ESL57 "QA look“
Solid, meachanically stable, visually coherent... this is how the option "QA look" could be described in short words. The longer siderails bring the ESL57 into a position optimised for the listening position. The sturdy real wood finish below the front grille gives it a solid, visually coherent appearance. At the same time, the entire construction becomes invisibly mechanically more stable. The siderails and the rear foot, which is also longer, have invisible threads on the underside. Screw-in spikes or rubber feet allow further adjustment and provide a secure stand on different floors.
